On July 2nd, 2024, Raise the Standards had an important first meeting with ASPA Bucharest to discuss the future of dogs in the city’s public shelters. We met with Catalina Tranescu, the director general of the public shelters ASPA Bucharest.

Raise the Standards and Center of Hope have joined forces for a crucial neutering project in Romania aimed at reducing the country’s large stray dog population.
